1921; Fowlers Foods Store – Chapel Hill’s First Grocery Store opened by JD’s Great Grandfather
1934; Fowlers Foods Store Expanded into a larger location (306 W. Franklin Street)
1942; Fowlers Foods Opened the area’s First Modern Supermarket (2216 N.Roxboro Rd)
1981; Fowlers Food moves into Brightleaf Square
1996; John Fowler Daniell (JD) and Family return home to the Triangle (Morrisville)
2002; JD begins working in the Wood Flooring Business
2004; JD created JD Hardwood Flooring upon his graduation from Green Hope High School
(before the age of twenty JD completed over 200 floors in local homes)

Thomas Milmoe (NC General Contractor license #82787) is our Remodel, Kitchen & Bath Service Manager – Thomas and JD both graduated from Green Hope School in 2002 & 2004 and each has worked in the local remodeling business since.
